Bangkok Kalachuchi- Ruby Tuesday

My Hubby's Hobby
One of my hubby's past time is gardening. He enjoyed collecting "bonsai" for his small garden. One of his collection is "Bangkok Kalachuchi".

What is this?

Bangkok Kalachuchi, scientifically known as Adenium obesum, is a popular flowering plant in the family Apocynaceae.  Adenium obesum is the only species belonging to this plant family. It is also known as the  Sabi Star, Kudu or Desert-Rose. It is native to tropical and subtropical eastern and southern Africa.

How to make the Bangkok Kalachuchi bloom?

Look at its base! It has big that formed particular figure. Nice to be cultured as Bonsai!

A closer look of the flowers! When this withers will be a seed to propagate another Kalachuchi.

A close up shot of the bark and the top of the roots!Wow,  It formed figure!
